Policy on Adjusting Search Criteria
1) Interview and Feasibility Validation
After the initial interview with your Matchmaker, you define your non-negotiable search criteria. Based on this information, the Matchmaker evaluates and validates the feasibility of your profile, confirming that, under these criteria, there are potential candidates available within the Fábrica de Parejas network and methodology.
This validation constitutes the Approved Search Profile, which will be the operational basis of the service.
2) Adjustments Permitted During the Process
You may request adjustments to your search criteria during the service period. However, these adjustments will be subject to review, as substantial changes may compromise the feasibility of the process and significantly decrease the probability of finding compatible candidates.
3) Restricted Values (not modifiable without authorized exception)
In order to protect the viability of the service, the Client agrees that they may not modify (once the process has begun) the following values established in the Approved Search Profile, except as indicated in point 4:
1. Age range (minimum and maximum) of the candidates.
2. Height of the candidates.
3. Religion of the candidates.
4. Preference regarding having children or not having children.
5. Willingness to travel or not to travel to meet candidates.
6. Acceptance or rejection of candidates from other cities.
7. Acceptable marital status of the candidates.
4) Sole exception: Matchmaker’s professional judgment
The only exception for accepting changes to the restricted values will be at the Matchmaker’s sole discretion, who will evaluate whether the adjustment:
• improves viability and expands real options, and
• does not complicate the search or reduce the availability of candidates.
If approved, the Matchmaker will confirm the adjustment and the Approved Search Profile will be updated.
5) Unfeasible requests
If the Client requests changes that, in the Matchmaker’s judgment, compromise the viability of the service (by drastically reducing the pool of candidates or making it nonexistent), Fábrica de Parejas may:
• Reject the modification, maintaining the original Approved Search Profile, or
• Propose alternatives that protect viability (for example, gradual adjustments, equivalent criteria, or tiered priorities).
6) Acceptance
By starting the service, the Client declares that they understand that the success of the process depends on maintaining viable criteria, and accepts that the Matchmaker acts as the technical responsible party for validating and protecting the viability of the search.
